Frontage Road Vail, CO 81657 ! Re: DRB Submittal for exterior modifications to the First Bank Building in West Vail, located at 2271 N. Frontage Road (Parcel # 2103-114-15-020) ! Dear Warren: ! Mauriello Planning Group is submitting this DRB application for exterior modifications to the First Bank Building in West Vail on behalf of Jim Pavelich, the owner and operator of the Northside Grab & Go (application signed by First Bank, the owner of the building). The space was previously occupied by 7-11 Convenience Store. As we discussed at length during a pre- application meeting, all of the proposed improvements are allowed in the CC3 zone district without the need for any additional review by the Planning and Environmental Commission. No floor new area is being added with this proposal. ! The proposed improvements proposed with this DRB application include the following: ! 1.Complete repaint of the exterior of the building; 2.New outdoor wood benches along the front facade of the store front; 3.Repaint existing front doors; 4.New light gage columns framed with a dark charcoal paint on hardi-panel on sides of the entry (west column is larger than the east column) 5.Addition of rustic wood to the store front; 6.Repaving of the asphalt parking area and re-striping of spaces (no change to number of spaces); 7.New exhaust vent on the west elevation of the building; and 8.New metal awning over the entry. ! Each of these proposed changes is indicated on the plans from StudioAtlantis and included with this submittal. A separate sign application will be forthcoming under separate cover.
