RE: Stone Residence Breakfast Nook Addition
Dear DRB Members:
This application consists of the Owner’s (Howard and Cathy Stone) wish to add a Breakfast Nook adjacent to the
existing Kitchen. The purpose is for the family to accommodate more sitting for breakfast. Below the new Nook
on the lower level an unfinished space will be used for deck furniture storage.
The home was originally built in the mid 1990’s. The home is located at 1241 Westhaven Circle (Lot 44, Glen
Lyon Subdivision). The home has had one previous remodel which converted existing crawl spaces into GRFA
interior space at the lower level. The floor plans included in this submittal reflect the converted spaces.
The design is consistent with the geometries of the existing plan and all materials and detailing are intended to
match the existing home. The existing roof is weathered wood shingles. The new roof will be a weathered
synthetic wood shingle.
