• 303.3 - A-2 Occupancy (Existing - Assembly "Banquet halls, Restaurants & bars")
• 503 - Type 5-B Construction (Sprinkled) - Existing/Proposed Structure
o Height - 40 Feet Allowed/ 33'-0" Proposed
o Height - 1 (2 stories allowed with 506.3 increase) / 2 Story Proposed
o Area per Story - 6,000 sq. ft. Allowed
o Building area and height modifications - additional 10,500 sq. ft. allowed (see

o Building equipped throughout with approved system in accordance with
Section 903.3.1.1

o Smoke Control required, Except where only two stories are connected.
• Table 509 - Incidental Use: Rooms with boilers where the largest piece of equipment
is over 15 psi and 10 horsepower - 1 hour or provide automatic sprinkler system.
• Table 1004.1.2 - Maximum Floor Area Allowances Per Occupant
o Assembly without fixed seats = 15 net
o Accessory Mechanical equipment and storage = 300 gross
MEANS OF EGRESS
• TABLE 1016.2 - OCCUPANCY A, S-1 (with Sprinkler Syatem)
o Exit Access Travel Distance limited to 250 feet
• 404.9 - Travel Distance (Atrium)
o In other than the lowest level of the atrium, where the required means of
egress is theough the atrium space, the portion of exit access travel distance
within the atrium space shall not be greater than 200 feet.
