Don and Becky Vestal requested that we design their addition to East Unit B to be in character with the existing duplex structure. The proposed addition consists of the following: • Extending the walls and the roof at the southeast corner of East Unit B to enlarge the existing Living Room by 117 sq ft. New windows will be added to the south and east walls, as shown on the Main Level Floor Plan and Elevations. • Extending the walls and roof at the southwest corner of East Unit B to enlarge the existing Dining Room by 88 sq. ft. New windows will be added to the south and west walls, as shown on the Main Level Floor Plan and Elevations. • Extending the existing deck to the south and replacing the deck stair and landing. • Adding new windows to Guest Bedroom #2 to meet egress requirements, as shown on the Second Level Floor Plan and Elevations. • Adding a new Guest Bathroom in the existing floor area to the north of Guest Bedroom #2. A new window will also be added, as shown on the Second Level Floor Plan and Elevations. • Removing the existing Powder Room and building a new Powder Room in the existing space to the east. The existing round window above will be relocated to the new Powder Room.
