Design Review Board
Attached for your review is our design submittal for the Vestal Residence Addition
located at 4394 Streamside Circle (Lot 9 Bighorn Sub. #4). Don and Becky Vestal requested
that we design their addition to East Unit B to be in character with the existing duplex structure.
The proposed addition consists of the following:
• Extending the walls and the roof at the southeast corner of East Unit B to enlarge the
existing Living Room by 117 sq ft. New windows will be added to the south and east
walls, as shown on the Main Level Floor Plan and Elevations.
• Extending the walls and roof at the southwest corner of East Unit B to enlarge the
existing Dining Room by 88 sq. ft. New windows will be added to the south and west
walls, as shown on the Main Level Floor Plan and Elevations.
• Extending the existing deck to the south and replacing the deck stair and landing.
• Adding new windows to Guest Bedroom #2 to meet egress requirements, as shown on
the Second Level Floor Plan and Elevations.
• Adding a new Guest Bathroom in the existing floor area to the north of Guest Bedroom
#2. A new window will also be added, as shown on the Second Level Floor Plan and
Elevations.
• Removing the existing Powder Room and building a new Powder Room in the existing
space to the east. The existing round window above will be relocated to the new Powder
Room.
We hope you will feel that the Vestal Residence Addition will add to the usability of
East Unit B and remains in character with the existing duplex structure . Thank you for your
