Genual Information: This application is required for all proposals involving minor changes to buildings and site improve-
ments, such as roofing, painting, window additions, landscaping, fences, retaining walls, etc. Applicable Vail Town
Code sections can be found at wvw.vaiigov.com under Vail Information—Town Code Online. All projects requiring de-
sign review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design Review
cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department. as outlined in
the submittal requirements. The project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and/or the Planning and
Environmental Commission. Design review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building per-
mit is issued and construction commences.

The owners of Unit 101, Geroca S.C., represented by Loguer Design and Eggers
Architecture, Inc., is requesting approval of a landscape remodel with minor changes the
building exterior.
The following is a list of modifications to the landscaping and building:
1. The existing lawn area will be removed to the parking garage structure, water proofed
and built back up utilizing structural foam and top soil, for the replacement of the sod.
2. The existing planting bed along the west property line will be re-installed and planted
with S Medora Juniper trees 12' tall to match the new trees on the rear of the building.
3. A new planting bed on the west side of the existing metal railing will be install with 4
Medora Juniper trees 12' tall.
4. 28 total Coralberry and Mountain Snowberry shrubs will be added to the existing planter
on the north side of the yard area. The existing spruce trees will remain.
5. A new flagstone patio will be installed along the north and west facing wall as a hard
surface exit from the building.
6. The existing windows in the two north facing bedrooms will be replaced with glass
doors for egress directly into the new lawn area.
7. The existing 38" tall metal railings will be replaced with new 42" tall railing of the same
design. A new metal gate will replace the existing.
All exterior building materials are to match the existing materials. The walks to the gate
will be topped with square Colorado buff pavers reclaimed from the back deck.
