PROJECT NARRATIVE
THE EXISTING SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE IS BEING GREATLY IMPROVED WITH THE ADDITION OF A SECONDARY UNIT THUS
CREATING A TWO-OWNER DUPLEX. THE DUPLEX IS CREATED BY COMBINING AREAS OF AN EXISTING SINGLE-FAMILY
HOME WITH ADDITIONAL AREAS AND STORIES AND THE CREATION OF A SPLIT-LOT LINE.
THE NEW WEST UNIT WILL BE 4 STORIES AND WILL INCLUDE AN ELEVATOR. A NEW TWO-CAR GARAGE WILL BE
ACCESSED VIA A NEW DRIVEWAY FROM THE LOWER PORTION OF KASOS RANCH ROAD. THE NEW GARAGE AND JR
SUITE FORM A 2-STORY ADDITION BELOW THE EXISTING HOUSE AND WILL REQUIRE MAJOR EXCAVATION.
MOST OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE WILL BE DEMOLISHED. A PORTION OF THE EXISTING HOUSE REMAINS, BUT THE
