General Information: This application is required for all proposals involving the addition of any floor area, including net
floor area and/or gross residential floor area (GRFA). This also includes proposals for `residential 250 additions' and
'interior conversions'. Applicable Vail Town Code sections can be found at www,vailgov.com under Vail information —
Town Code Online. All projects requiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit appli-
cation. An application =or Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community
Development Department, as outlined in the submittal requirements. The project may also need to be reviewed by the
Town Council and/or the Planning and Environmental Commission. Design review approval expires one year from the
date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and construction commences.

To Whom II May Concern:
The Booth Creek Townhouse Homeowner's Association (HOA) has been informed of a
planned interior remodel in Unit H3 owned by David Wipper. The renovation project
includes adding interior square footage, kitchen remodel, and other improvements. The
HOA Documents and Rules and Regulations allow for such changes as long as changes
that could alter the structure are properly designed and approved to meet Town of Vail
codes and requirements.
Due to the distance of the unit to the parking/delivery area, the HOA Board of Directors
has approved placing a temporary structure next to the unit. The building is to be used
for construction equipment and other storage during the renovation process. It is
anticipated the temporary structure will be in place roughly September through October
or mid November. The homeowner will be responsible for removing the structure and
restoring landscape and any damage caused by the structure or construction project.
The BOD understands that the TOV has approved the temporary structure and will
require removal of the structure prior to issuing a final Certificate of Occupancy.
