Vail, CO RE: 2755 Snowberry Drive West half, Lot 10, Block 9, Vail Intermountain Dear Planning Staff, I am pleased to submit CHANGES TO APPROVED PLANS for the WEST unit at 2755 Snowberry Drive for your review. We are proposing the following changes. 1 The driveway retaining material will change from boulders to precast units with textured faces. The drawing C1-1 shows the 42’ of precast retaining proposed. It also demonstrates thru section the layback and spacing of retaining walls at this drive. Cutsheets of the proposed material are attached to this submittal. 2 COLOR BOARD: The exterior stone is being changed from Cottonwood split face to an Ashland Rubble with a smear mortar technique. The horizontal stain color has changed from Ben. Moore Carmel to Sherwin Williams SW3540 Mountain Ash. 3 The on-grade terrace on the north side of the drive is proposed to be changed to an elevated drip thru deck with a guard rail on the downhill sides. Steepness of lot is prohibiting the previous size. As a benefit, the deck will do screening of the rock retaining walls holding up the drive on the north side. This deck is consistent with the look of the neighbors at Snowberry lot 9. 4 The light fixture is proposed to be changed to the Hammerton Studio fixture. Cut sheets are attached.
