To Whom It May Concern,
As General Manager, and Agent of the Association, please accept this letter as proof of Owner and
Board approval of a major renovation project to Vail Spa Condominiums, at 710 W. Lionshead Cir, Vail.
This work would be performed from April to November of 2016.
On 30 March 2015, by a 69% majority, Owners approved (and Board ratified) an exterior and common
area renovation to include the replacement or refurbishment of all exterior materials including siding,
trim, concrete walls, decks, patio areas and associated grounds.
While residential windows and doors are not at Board’s authority to require replacement (except in light
of performance issues causing damage to the building envelope), the owners did also express their
desire to replace their windows and doors with new equipment by the same margin.
Other scope of work approved for execution in 2016 is complete refurbishment of interior and exterior
pools and hot tubs, locker rooms (with steam/sauna/massage) and fitness room. Also, the three
elevators will be completely refurbished, and mechanical work will be performed on common area
HVAC systems and pool/spa heating associated domestic hot water systems.
At their September Board Meeting, and with input from Owners via electronic survey, the Board has
selected and approved the design components, color schemes and materials as presented by their
contracted design team, KH Webb Architects.
