HomeMy WebLinkAbout17. ShortTermRental4X9The Town of Vail is seeking the public’s input on
potential policy changes to regulations of Vail’s
short term rental market. Currently, the town requires
a business license for any owner renting a unit
more than 14 days per year, a posting of a Vail
sales tax account number on all advertisements
and remittance of sales and lodging taxes.
New regulations that may be considered by Town
Council include policies around the topics of:
• Life Safety
• Licensing Enforcement
• Quality of Life / Community Impacts
• Vail Quality Standards (Quality of Lodging)
Stop by and share your opinions. Staff will be on hand
to discuss information on what other communities
are doing as well as new policies that may be
considered by Town Council.
