Our findings and recommendations are presented in this report. The services are supplemental to our agreement for professional services to the Town of Vail, dated October 12, 2015. Hepworth-Pawlak Geotechnical previously performed a subsoil study at the site and submitted our findings in a report dated December 31, 2015, Job No. 115 512A. That report included a discussion of the potential geologic hazards that could impact the site. The report stated that the risk of rock fall potential at the site is low to possibly moderate, and the risk of snow avalanche potential at the site is minimal. There are no other significant potential geologic hazard impacts to the site. We have reviewed the site grading plan for the proposed addition prepared by Martin/Martin dated February 18, 2016. We understand mitigation of the rock fall and avalanche potentials is not proposed and the potential risks are accepted by the owner. The proposed building addition and associated site grading shown on the February 18, 2016 grading plan by Martin/Martin will not increase the existing rock fall, snow avalanche, debris flow and debris avalanche hazards to adjacent properties, including public streets, right-of-ways and easements. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call our office. Sincerely, HEPWORTH—PA GEOTECHNICAL, INC. eytodaelllk s >ni-V David A.
