An applica- tion for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community development De- partment. Design Review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and construction commences. Submittal Requirements: The Town of Vail offers two (2) methods for submittal of materials for review of applications. Materials can be submitted either digitally or on paper. Whichever method you select all materials shall be submitted in that format throughout the Design Review process. The Town encourages you to consider using the submittal of digital documents and plans. If submitting digitally all elements of the application shall be uploaded to the Town's share file site as a complete set of materials. If submitting paper three (3) copies of the materials noted with an asterisk (*) and one (1) copy of all others are required. The materials necessary to have a complete application are as follows: 1. Copies of all pertinent approved plans with illustrated, labeled changes. 2. Joint Property Owner Written Approval Letter, if applicable.. Subsequent to approval we decided to make a design change as noted below and the attached documentation and are seeking approval for these changes. Summary of change 1. Our home currently has a master bedroom on the upper floor with a small deck on the rear of the house. We are proposing to remove this deck and the sliding door used to access the deck. We will replace the sliding door with windows and the deck will be replaced with a sloped roof over the space below the old deck. 2. The approved drawings show two windows in the two bedrooms in the lower rear portion of the house. At the suggestion of one of the DRB committee members we are proposing to change to three windows in each bedroom. 3. We are eliminating three trees. The DRB committee requested we add four 2" caliper aspen trees. Attached is a landscaping plan showing where we propose to plant those trees. Thank you for your consideration.
