Town of Vail Design Review Board,
The residence at 84 Beaver Dam Rd, Vail, CO 81657 (Vail Village Filing 1, Block
7, Lot 28) has stone veneer low on exterior walls that is deteriorating and needs to be
replaced. The waterproof decks at either side of the main level show signs of leaking and
structural deterioration. The drawings show proposed reconstruction of the existing decks
and structure to match existing. All exterior materials are to match existing. Also, being
proposed is an addition of 129.4 SF to a lower level bunkroom. A portion of a lower level
covered deck will be enclosed to create the addition. Also, being proposed is a covered
porch entry at an exterior door off of the family room at the back of the house. The
proposed roof, wood beams and knee bracing will match existing roof, beams and bracing
on house.
