SCOPE OF WORK LETTER
1. Pre-wire in accordance with NEC, NFPA 72, NFPA 720 and town of Vail Fire
Department amendments:
1.1. 8 smoke detector locations;
1.2. 1 heat detector location;
1.3. 1 sprinkler flow sensor;
1.4. 2 sprinkler valve tamper sensors;
1.5. 5 carbon monoxide detector locations;
1.6. 4 Mini-horn locations;
1.7. 1 Exterior Horn-Strobe;
2. Install in accordance with NFPA 72, NFPA 720 and town of Vail Fire Department
amendments:
2.1. Interlogix Concord V4.0 conventional (non-addressable) combination
(fire-burglary-environmental) alarm system;
2.2. 8 Interlogix ESL 541NCSXT polarity sensitive photo-electric smoke
detectors with built-in notification appliance;
2.3. 1 System Sensor 5603 — 135°F fixed temperature heat detector;
2.4. 5 Interlogix ESL 260-CO Carbon monoxide detectors;
2.5. 1 Interlogix ATP1000 Alarm annunciator;
2.6. 1 System Sensor P2RK weather proofed horn-strobe combo;
2.7. 4 System sensor MHW mini horns — one per level plus one in the garage;

2.8. Connect the Fire sprinkler flow sensor to the alarm panel to generate a
fire alarm in the event of water flow;
2.9. Connect the sprinkler control valve tamper sensors to the alarm panel to
generate self-restorable supervisory signals in an event of a valve
closure.
3. Mapping:
3.1. Activate smoke detectors' notification appliances in tandem during any
fire alarm;
3.2. Designate (define and report distinguished signals) automatic fire
detection by floor— per Vail Fire Department amendments;
3.3. Activate all carbon monoxide detectors to sound together during a CO
alarm;
3.4. Activate the exterior horn-strobe in an event of Fire sprinkler alarm;
