Town of Vail Design Review Board,
The changes to the approved plans are as follows:
A2.0- The gas meter location has been moved from the lower level garage to the front of
the house next to the living room fireplace.
A2.1 - The landscape calculations have been revised per deck changes shown on sheets
A3.1 – A3.3 and described below.
A3.1 - The two deck columns at the far west side have been moved east towards the
house 12” per the deck changes at the main and upper levels.
The foundation wall at the ext. stair has been angled per changes to the stair at the
main level and described on sheet A3.2 below.
A3.2 – The exterior fireplace and western edge of deck have been moved east towards
the house 12”. Landscape calculations on A2.1 have been revised to reflect these changes.
The ext. stair has been angled to match the angle of the main level deck. The foundation wall has been lowered so that the stair treads extend over the edge of the wall.
The window above the lockers at the mud room has been eliminated (see 4/A4.3).
The gas meter location has been moved from the lower level garage to the front of the house next to the living room fireplace.
A3.3 - The chimney mass from fireplace at main level and western edge of deck have been shifted 12” to the east. Landscape calculations on A2.1 have been revised to
reflect these changes.
A4.1 - The exterior fireplace and western edge of the main and upper level decks have
been moved east towards the house 12”.
The gas meter location has been moved from the lower level garage to the front of
the house next to the living room fireplace. The meter will be behind plantings per landscape plan.
A4.2 - The sliding door header and window headers at the lower level have been lowered 12” to a new height of approximately 8’.
The foundation wall at the ext. stair has been lowered so the stair treads extend over the edge of the wall.
The exterior fireplace and western edge of the main and upper level decks have been moved east towards the house 12”.
A4.3 – The window at the mud room has been eliminated.

The window headers at the laundry room, pantry, and main level hallway have
been lowered 6” to a new height of approximately 8’-6”
The window headers at the lower level have been lowered 12” to a new height of
approximately 8’.
The 3x3 trim connecting window trims has been removed.
The 30”x36” window at the main level garage has been enlarged to match the 36”x36” size of the other window in the garage.
A5.1 - The window headers at the lower level have been lowered 12” to a new height of approximately 8’.
