Thissubmittal includes six revisionsto the approved plans. Each of the revisions are outlined below and have referencesto the updateson the floorplansand elevations. Please contact Ben Marion (970)949-7034 benm@vagarchitects.com with any questions, clarificationsor need for additional information. Changes have been clouded in red on the drawing sheetswith notes. I have also included cut sheetsand a photo of the tree to be removed . Item 1 A mechanical air intake louverhasbeen added to the west façade of the building. Ibis louver istwelve inchestall and twenty four inches long, the louver will be painted to match the existing stucco. The louver can be found on plan sheet A2.1 nearthe intersection of grid lines6 and C. It suppliesfresh airto the Fan coil unit in room 103 and supplies return air required by the range hood requirements in the kitchen. The louver isalso shown on sheet A3.1 proposed West elevation to the top right of window number2. Item 2 A gasfireplace vent has been added to the West facade of the building. The vent isfourteen inchestall and fourteen incheswide, the vent will be painted to match the existing stucco. The vent can be found on sheet A2.1 nearthe intersection of grid lines6 and G. This isa gasfireplace vent forthe unit in master bedroom 114. The vent is also shown on sheet A3.1 proposed West elevation between windows 24 and 25. Item 3 Windows59 and 60 on the North elevation of the building have been shortened in height. The approved plansshow the windowsas2'-8" wide by 5'-0" tall. We would like to change the windows to 2'-8" wide by 2'-8" tall. Please refer to sheet A3.2 Proposed North Elevation forthe new shortened windows. Also refer to sheet A9.1 for the updated window schedule. Originally the condensing unitswe going to be placed on the roof near the ridgeline but after review of the site the location underthe deck has been determined to be betterfor protection of the units, sound buffering and they will now be hidden from view. Please referto sheet A3.2 and sheet A2. Item 5 Remove abandoned grease fan exhaust chimney from the roof. Originally this grease fan and chimney were thought to be active and we to be extended up to the new roof. It hasbeen determined that the duct and fan have been abandoned . The duct will be removed so there will not be a need for the new chimney. Item 6 Remove the spruce tree from planter between the Unit 3 entry and the entry to Bridge Street Bar. This tree needsto be removed during construction to perform work on the building foundation in that area. The tree looksto be old and sick and does not look like it will live very long. The tree hasgrown between two entry roofsand isvery close to the building which could be deemed a hazard . The HOA does not wish to keep the tree after construction. The tree is in a small planter which would be better if filled with flowers or small shrubs. If we can provide any further information please let us know.
