Box 2378, Edwards, CO 81632 Tel: 970 926-4301 fax: 970 926-4364 Town of Vail Design Review Board, The residence at 84 Beaver Dam Rd, Vail, CO 81657 (Vail Village Filing 1, Block 7, Lot 28) went through extensive waterproofing and stone veneer repairs last summer. Due to time constraints, all required construction was not able to be completed and a second phase was required. Phase II Zone 2A - The main stair at the front entry of the house needs to undergo water proofing repairs. The proposed construction will consist of removing the stone veneer, wall caps and flagstone pavers down to existing waterproofing membrane. The water proofing membrane will be stripped and new waterproofing will be applied. When reconstructing the stairs, new snowmelt will be installed and center drains at the landings will be installed. Phase II Zone 2B - The sand set walkway and patio to the care taker unit will be demoed and reconstructed. The new patio and walkway will be constructed over a new snow melted concrete slab and the flagstone pavers will be grouted into place. The stone veneer low on exterior walls that is deteriorating and needs to be replaced. Phase II zone 2C – The snow melted walkway at the upper level that connects 64 Beaver Dam Residence and 84 Beaver Dam Residence needs repairs. The Flagstone will be pulled up. A new topping slab with new snowmelt tubing will be poured. The flagstone pavers will be re-grouted into place. No habitable area or site coverage is being proposed.
