Backfill should not be water settled. STRUCTURAL STEEL:Steel wide flange beams, Channels, Angles , Plates, and other miscellaneous shapes shall conform to ASTM A36. Any welding shall be in accordance with all applicable codes and shall be performed by a certified welder. CONCRETE: All concrete shall utilize type II cement with 6% +/- 1% air entrainment and a minimum 28 day compressive strength of 3000 psi , and shall be proportioned in accordance with the applicable requirements of the ACI codes.
