We are scheduled to start this project on September 15. I have contracted with BCL
Landscaping, Steve Tarrant, owner for this project.
We need a 60 ton crane to move the materials and earth moving equipment into the back
yard. There is not any other access from the road.
I am aware that I will need to coordinate this with Leonard Sandoval.
Picture Discriptions:
“Front view”: Shows the road view of the house. No access from the road.
“Side of house”: The underground drain will run down the middle of the grassy area on this
side, day lighting at the big rock in the foreground.
“Uphill side”: This is the area where the drain will turn to enter the back yard. The
downspouts will start connecting to the drain here.
“Problem area”: The water from the hillside runs into this retaining wall. Directly under this
wall is the closet of one of our bedrooms. When there is significant rain or run off, the water
pressure here develops a leak in that closet. The main drain will be buried at the bottom of this
wall and connect to the hillside drain. We will also waterproof the wall. All will be restored to
the current look. (minus the tarp)
“Back yard”: The drain will start where the black temporary drain pipe attaches to the
house. The downspout there will connect to the main drain allowing for the water from the
roof to be moved around the foundation.
