Re: Vail Racquet Club – Phase 2
Dear Mike,
This letter outlines an upcoming scope of work to be performed at Vail Racquet Club. This work
will be performed by Thul Electronics. This scope constitutes Phase 2 of a series of upgrades
planned at this complex. Vail Racquet Club consists of 15 buildings and one Clubhouse. The
Clubhouse is up to date. Phase 1 consisted of upgrades to Buildings 3, 4 and 5. Phase 2 will
include the following upgrades:
Fire alarm panel replacement in buildings 1, 2 and 6
Addition of wired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to Building 15 (existing fire
alarm panel to remain)
Upgrade of units 2-6 and 6-4 to partial ADA compliance specifically through the
installation of fire alarm strobes
Conversion of unit smoke detectors to point addressable through the installation of
addressable monitor modules at each device
Installation of one wireless carbon monoxide detector per unit to be located in the central
hallway outside of sleeping rooms adjacent to the existing hallway smoke detector
Conversion of existing common area heat detectors and manual pull stations to
addressable through the installation of addressable modules
Installation of one outside strobe on each building to provide designation to an
approaching fire department truck
Device counts, equipment data sheets and a copy of Thul’s proposal are attached. Please advise
if a permit may be issued.
Sincerely,
Deborah L. Shaner, P.E.

Pricing
It is our goal to provide our clients with the best value possible when purchasing electronics and
entertainment systems. We are a full service electronics company that strives to exceed our customers'
expectations for quality and service. We stand behind every product and solution we sell. Where others
in our industry often assess design fees and project management charges to cover the costs of such
things as theater design, project documentation, coordination with cabinetmakers and electricians, etc.,
we have chosen to offer these services at no additional charge.
While internet and discount retailers may be able to offer products that appear to cost less, they cannot
match our ability to design systems that meet your needs, our knowledge of products, our warranties and
our commitment to your satisfaction. We strive to offer reasonable pricing for our solutions and believe
that when all factors are considered, we can provide our customers with unparalleled value.
We are proud of our industry associations and awards, including:
