Planting & Growing Tannenbaum Mugo Pine will grow to be about 10 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 6 feet. It tends to fillout right to the ground and therefore doesn't necessarily require facer plants in front, and is suitable forplanting under power lines. It grows at a slow rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for40 years or more. This shrub should only be grown in full sunlight. It prefers dry to average moisture levels with verywell-drained soil, and will often die in standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH, and is ableto handle environmental salt. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner cityenvironments. This is a selected variety of a species not originally from North America.
