Meadow Dr. Vail, CO 81657 Re: Scope of Work Letter 385 Gore Creek Dr. #103 Vail, Colorado 80657 Dear Mike: We have been contracted to prewire unit#103 of the Vorlaufer Building for a future fire alarm system upgrade. The unit is currently under renovation(permit#B14-0094). Soffets are being installed throughout the residence that will house sprinkler piping to be installed by Vail Valley Fire Sprinkler pulled under a separate permit. It is through these soffets that we will install fire alarm wire (14/4 FPLP for notification, 16/4 FPLP for SLC) under the assumption we are wiring for the following devices and locations: • Bedroom#1,smoke. No gas burning appliances,ceiling fan in center of room. • Bedroom#2,smoke. No gas burning appliances, ceiling fan in center of room. • Hallway outside bedrooms,smoke only. • Hallway outside bedrooms,carbon monoxide detector. Boxes will be cut in for each location with wire coiled and boxes capped for future use. These changes will be performed in compliance with applicable fire codes, electrical codes and existing Town of Vail amendments.
