Specifically,this Application references a request for roadway construction related to underground utility installation at 4367 Columbine. We'll be pulling cable and electric from the service pedestals on the south side of Columbine then crossing Columbine (indicated in yellow)where we'll connect water and sewer. The proposed street cut is further west of that originally intended given realized site conditions and the revised intention to install underground utilities individually for the two proposed residences(future residence at 4387 utilities likely located further east and installed at a later date). Gas service connection will be by Xcel personnel. I've spoken to Ryan Selchert,Xcel Energy Technician (970 262-4068) regarding this work and while hopeful that Xcel can take advantage of the road cut, it seems likely now that gas will be connected next Spring. Traffic disruption should be minimal during work on the south side of Columbine where we anticipate accommodation by a single flagger. Street cut work will be more disruptive and we'll work as expeditiously as possible to minimize neighborhood impact. For this work,we anticipate 2 flaggers—one on each side of the excavation.
