Re : Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System Addition
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the remodel of unit 414 at the
Montaneros Building. The scope of work will be to bring the remodeled area up to NFPA
standards adopted by Vail Fire. Work performed will be re-run all of the existing circuits above
the ceiling to properly conceal them and to center the detectors in each bedroom and living
room to the best extent possible. These devices will be added to the current main fire alarm
control system, a Silent Knight 5820 and will provide continuity between the new area and the
existing building.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and
schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
