Re : Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System Addition
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the elevator upgrade at Holiday Inn. The
scope of work will be to bring the remodeled area up to NFPA standards adopted by Vail Fire.
Work performed will be to relocate one smoke detector and one heat detector to the newly
constructed elevator machine room. In addition we will be adding one new addressable
smoke detector outside the elevator machine room. We will also be adding one addressable
relay to provide the elevator shunt and one new addressable monitor module and heavy duty
relay to provide supervision of the shunt trip power. These devices will be added to the
current main fire alarm control system, a Notifier NFS-3030 in the main electrical room and
will provide continuity between the remodel area and the existing building.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and
schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
