SCOPE OF WORK LETTER
1. Remove existing fire alarm devices and wiring.
2. Pre-wire in accordance with NEC, NFPA 72, NFPA 720 and town of Vail Fire
Department amendments:
2.1. 16 smoke detector locations;
2.2. 1 heat detector location;
2.3. 1 sprinkler flow sensor;
2.4. 2 sprinkler valve tamper sensors;
2.5. 10 carbon monoxide detector locations;
2.6. 2 Mini-horn locations;
2.7. 1 Exterior Horn-Strobe location;
2.8. 1 Annunciator location.
3. Install in accordance with NFPA 72, NFPA 720 and town of Vail Fire Department
amendments:
3.1. HAI Omni Pro II conventional, combination (fire-burglary-environmental)
alarm system;
3.2. 16 System Sensor 4WT-B - polarity sensitive photo-electric smoke alarms;
3.3. 1 System Sensor 5603 - 135oF fixed temperature heat detector;
3.4. 10 Macurco CM-E1 - carbon monoxide detectors;
3.5. 1 HAI Omni Pro Alarm annunciator;
3.6. 1 System Sensor P2RK weather proofed horn-strobe combo;
3.7. 2 System sensor MHW mini horns – one per level plus one in the garage;
3.8. Connect the Fire sprinkler flow sensor to the alarm panel to generate a
fire alarm in the event of water flow;
3.9. Connect the sprinkler control valve tamper sensors to the alarm panel to
generate self-restorable supervisory signals in an event of a valve
closure.
4. Mapping:
4.1. Activate smoke detectors’ notification appliances in tandem during any
fire alarm;
4.2. Designate (define and report distinguished signals) automatic fire
detection by floor – per Vail Fire Department amendments;
4.3. Activate the exterior horn-strobe in an event of Fire sprinkler alarm;
