RE: Four Seasons Rm. 6103 Remodel
Mr. Vaughan,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will
be performed by Western States Fire Protection in unit 6103 at the Four Seasons.
Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows.
• Relocate sprinklers in dining area that is being converted to a bedroom
• Relocate sprinklers in living room to match new ceiling layout
• Raise/Lower sprinklers throughout to match new ceiling elevations
• Raise existing 3" steel pipe to be above new ceiling
• Replace chrome sprinklers throughout unit to be white sprinkler of same type and K factor
This is a copper and steel wet system on the sixth floor. All added materials will be compatible to the
existing system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
