Re: Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System Remodel
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the basement remodel for the American
Ski Exchange. The scope of work will be to bring the remodeled area up to NFPA standards
adopted by Vail Fire. Work performed will be to add one audio-visual notification device to
each area for general alarm notification. One smoke detector will be added to the storage
area and the existing heat detector will be located over the ski-tuning area. These devices
will be added to the current main fire alarm control system, a Silent Knight 5808 in and will
provide continuity between the new area and the existing building.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and
schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
