1. BUILDING ELEMENTS:
* TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION AND FIRE RESISTIVE REQUIREMENTS are not being
modified in this proposal. Refer to building permit no. B14-0040 for detailed information
regarding construction type.
** UNIT DEMISING WALLS must maintain 1 HR fire separation. Seal any penetrations
with UL approved fire caulking and meet the requirements of IBC section 708
6. FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
* The FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS shall comply with the agreements made for the whole building
remodel as outlined in permit number: B14-0040. that states:
1. Each unit shall have the agreed upon fire/smoke/heat/ and carbon monoxide detection sensors
as detailed in Phase 2 of the agreement letter.
2. Smoke/Heat detection sensors will be located in each sleeping room as detailed in Phase 3 of
the agreement letter.
7. EXIT REQUIREMENTS
* The units are existing and will not be modifying the current EXITING REQUIREMENT occupant load AND
will meet the requirements of section 1005

ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS WITHOUT SUBSTANTIAL MODIFICATION TO THE STRUCTURAL FRAME
OF THE BUILDING.
