SCOPE OF WORK/ NOTES-
1-Existing flooring in hallway is to be removed (tile and carpet) and
to be replace by stone/ tile flooring silver quartzite in a random
pattern. New stone flooring is to extend to the end of the stairwell
landings. Special attention is to be paid at stairwell to maintain
proper riser heights. No other work to existing stairs included.
2- Once existing floor finishes are removed the existing subfloor will
be inspected to determine extent or repairs/ replacement of
subfloor.
3- Arched openings are to be removed from unit entries and
replaced with flat drywall ceilings. Side lights at existing doors are
to be eliminated as well.
4- Entry doors to the 3 units will be replaced with new 20 minute fire
rated doors with new door frames
5- Stairwell doors are to replaced with new 1 hour fire rated doors.
Existing stairwell door frames are to remain. Door replacement
only
6- No work inside units included except for trim and patching around
doors
7- No work to existing elevator included
8- Drywall throughout hallway to be textured to match and will be
repainted
9- Verify carbon monoxide detector installed
10- Asbestos testing required
11- Verify all Elec/ Mech meets current code
12- Occupancy Type- R2
13- Construction Type- III-A
14- Building is fully sprinklered

ELECTRICAL NOTES-
1-Existing light fixtures are to be replaced with new high efficency
lighting. New lighting will replace exisitng lighting cucuit with more
efficeint lighting so the total load will drop. See plan for layout.
2- Any ceiling/ floor penetrations will be 1 hour rated as needed
3- Verify all Elec/ Mech meets current code
4- At least 75% of new lighting to be high efficiency
