The membrane and an acceptable insulation are loose-laid over the roof deck. Adjoining membrane sheets are spliced together using either: Versico Splice Adhesive, EPDM Primer and Quick- Applied Tape or VersiGard EPDM with Quick-Applied Tape (QAT) Seam Technology and Primer. Membrane and insulation are held in place with a minimum of 10 lbs. of ballast per square foot. The above information represents a basic ballasted system installation.
