Equipment in Use: ground thaw machine, frost blankets HP Geotech's Site Activities: As requested by Dennis Ward with RA Nelson we visited the site and observed on site excavated soils proposed to be used for waterline backfill, some of which will be under building footings. Based on our observation the material was judged to be granular silty sand and gravel and therefore suitable for use as backfill.
