Where new sheets have been issued, all revisions have been clouded. Our responses to the Plan Check Comments are as follow, noted by sheet number / description number: Sheet A0.2 / B001  Plan items to be deferred submittals have been listed on this sheet. Sheet A0.2 / B002  2011 State and National Electrical code has been added to this sheet. Sheet A0.2 / B003  IECC Section C402.4.1.2.3 has been annotated on this sheet. Sheet A1.3 / B001  Scupper sizing has been added to this sheet in compliance with section 1503.4 IBC. All scuppers have a 4” min. height. Fixtures comply with A117.1 ANSI. Sheet A1.4 / B002  Reference sheet ID2.3. Vertical grab bars comply with A117.1 ANSI. Sheet A3.2 / B001  Reference detail 14/A5.3. We have revised this detail to comply with section 1405.10.1.3; however, this section specifically states clearances for stud walls since this stone veneer is attached to an exterior concrete wall, please confirm if the 2” minimum clearance from a paved area is required. Sheet A5.3 / B001  Reference Specification Section 044313.13: Anchored Stone Masonry Veneer which indicates how stone veneer is attached to the building. Sheet A5.3 / B002  Reference detail 14/A5.3 and Specification Section 044313.13: Miscellaneous Masonry Accessories which indicates how drainage is provided at the stone veneer. Sheet A5.4 / B001  Per the Coloradoenergy.org R-Value table, Logs and Lumber have a 1.33 per inch R- Value.  At wood glu-lams where spray foam is applied between members there’s a total of 10.25” of wood + an additional 1.75” of spray foam. 10.25” x 1.33 = 13.6 R-Value + 1.75” foam x (6.1 per inch) = 24.3 R-Value total.  At wood glu-lams where LVL is between members there is a total of 10.25” of wood + 1.75” of LVL = 12” x 1.33 = 15.96 R-Value total.  We believe this meets the intent of the 2012 IECC per Table C402.2. Box 1976  Avon, CO 81620  (970) 949-0257  FAX (970) 949-1080  www.zehren.com Sheet A5.4 / B003  Per section 1503.4.1 Scuppers shall be provided where the roof perimeter construction extends above the roof in such a manner that water will be entrapped if the primary drains allow buildup for any reason. The slope of the roof only allows for minimal water build-up which per section 1503.4.2 is allowable provided it’s accounted for in the structural design of the roof, which it is. The roof design only allows for a maximum of 4” water build-up before water would overflow onto primary flat roof which is sized for the additional water load.
