RE: West Vail Fire Station #3—Heat Trace Power Revisions

The purpose of this letter is to describe an electrical scope of work and affirm code compliance
to make necessary revisions and corrections to the originally installed roof heat trace system
power feed at the West Vail Fire Station#3, in Vail, Colorado.
The following is a description of the scope of work:
• Replace the existing 20 amp, 3-pole circuit breaker in existing panel `P2' with a 40 amp,
3-pole circuit breaker to serve an existing heat trace control panel rated at 34.4 amps.
• Replace existing#10 AWG conductor feeders to existing heat trace control panel with 3-
#8 AWG+#10 ground.
