The existing US Bank building has an existing,gas fired water heater installed in the 1'080's that provided
domestic hot water to the core bathroom groups and miscellaneous plumbing fixtures throughout the
facility. Additional, electric, water heaters in the building provide domestic hot water to various other
locations.
VV_MC is in progress of remodeling several tenant spaces in the building and would like to take the
.opportunity to consolidate domestic hot water generation back to the buildings main mechanical room,
and upgrade the existing gas fired water heater to indirect water heaters served by the building heating
water system.
Schedulet
Project to be Complete as soon as possible to support tenant remodels in progress that will be
completed err phases over the next 5 months. Tentative completion target 2/27/2015
5coPe Summary
Remove the existing gas fire water heater in the buildings main mechanical room. Cut and cap the
existing domestic water end gas connections to the water heater. Remove the water heater floe,
controls, and other appurtenances.
Provide and install two (2) new indirect water heaters in the mechanical room utilizing the exsting
heating water system. Connect new domestic hot water line to existing main. Provide new domestic hot
water recirculation line from the new water heaters up through the building and connect to existing
tenant recirculation line in the ceiling of the second Floor. insulate all new domestic water piping,
existing piping where readilyaccessfhle,
Provide new floor drain in mechanical room for boiler condensate, pressure relief, and domestic drain
dc�v�rt.
Remove power to existing water heater system. Provide Dower to new water heaters and building
recirculation pump" Provide service outlet near equipmerir as required. Provide control power where
needed.
