Inspection of shop fabrication or field work at job site: Field
Report: Verified onsite welders were qualified per A WS D 1.1 & using the correct
welding materials/electrodes.
Visually inspected field welding at new steel reinforcing channels/connections,
new angle bracing at bar joists, blocking ,and new joist seats.
The field welding inspected above appeared to be in substantial conformance
with the plans, and the quality requirements of the A WS D 1.1 Structural Welding
Code.
