RE: Northwoods unit A-107 remodel
Mr. Vaughan,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will
be performed by Western States Fire Protection in unit A-107 at northwoods complex.
Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows.
: Reroute 1.25" copper line for new stairs to upper level.
: Eliminate three heads on main level due to box beam removal.
: Add one head on main level for patio enclosure.
: Add one head on second level for deck enclosure.
All work performed will comply with NFPA13 and local standards.
This is a copper antifreeze system. All added materials will be compatible to the existing
system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
