RE: Northwoods unit F-5
Mr. Vaughan,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will
be performed by Western States Fire Protection in unit F-5 at Northwoods.
Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows.
: Add one head in new first floor closet.
: Add one head in new entry to guest bedroom on second floor.
: Eliminate one head due to new wall configuration in master bedroom on fourth floor.
: Relocate one head in master bedroom due to new wall configuration.
All work performed will comply with NFPA13 and local standards.
This is a copper system. All added materials will be compatible to the existing
system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
