HomeMy WebLinkAboutscope of work letter.pdf October 29, 2014 Sierra Condo Association 1760 Sierra Trail Vail, CO 81657 Town of Vail, Building Department 75 S Frontage Rd Vail, CO 81657 Re:Sierra Condo Association Reroof—Detailed Scope of Work To Whom it May Concern: Below is a detailed scope of work regarding the Reroof of Sierra Condominium Association. • Remove and dispose of all existing roofing material to decking. • Remove and save all existing gutters and downspouts. • Inspect decking for damage and make repairs as necessary. • Installation of the following o Low Slope Roofs (2/12) ■ 4" of polyisocyanurate insulation ■ Fiberglass base sheet ■ Polyglass Torch Down Modified Bitumen (brochure attached) • Color: Heather Blend • UL Class A fire rated ■ All flashing will be Torch Down material listed above o High Slope Roofs (4/12 &8/12) ■ Dark brown metal flashing will be used in all exposed areas (color sheet attached) ■ Standard roofing tin will be used in all covered areas ■ High temp ice &water shield ■ Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Composite Shingles (brochure attached) • Color:Teak • UL Class A fire rated ■ Rocky Mountain ST9 Snowguards as detailed in attached documents • Reinstallation of existing gutters and downspouts. NOTE: Damaged gutters and downspouts will be replaced with Dark Brown color being used for flashing Please let me know if you need additional information or if you'd like me to drop some samples off when I'm in your area later this week.
