Last I heard I thought that you took a Planner job on the Front Range. I look forward to working with you again. Good Circle! These cottonwood trees are aging and outgrowing their space. The branches are breaking in winds and falling onto the adjacent garage. This is one of the cases where the tree is overfilling its' space in an maturing, overplanted landscape. Don't hesitate giving me a call with any questions. Last time was when I was working for the Town of Breckenridge. I have been in Vail for about a year now. Just wondering what you can tell me about the cottonwood trees proposed for removal at 725 Forest Road, #B. Are these trees diseased, or otherwise dangerous?Town of Vail code states: 14-10-3: C. Removal of trees, shrubs, and other native vegetation shall be limited to removal of those essential for development of the site, those identified as diseased, those essential for creating defensible space, and those found to impact view corridors as further regulated by title 12, chapter 22, "View Corridors'; of this code. Mitigation may be required for tree removal. Any information you have would be appreciated.
