REMOVE KITCHEN CEILING THROUGHOUT AND SALVAGE ALL LIGHT
FIXTURES FOR POSSIBLE REUSE OR STORAGE PER OWNER'S DIRECTION.
REMOVE AND RELOCATE SPRINKLER HEADS AS REQUIRED AT AREAS
OF CEILING DEMOLITION. SEE GENERAL NOTE #4.
SOFFIT TO REMAIN.
CEILING PLAN DEMO GENERAL NOTES:
1. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL
EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES, MAKING EVERY EFFORT TO AVOID
DAMAGE. REMOVE ALL CIRCUITRY BACK TO PANEL OR REUSE
AS NECESSARY FOR NEW LIGHTING LAYOUT. STORE LIGHT
FIXTURES IN OWNER PROVIDED SECURE STORAGE ON RESORT
SITE.
2. AT LOCATIONS OF GYPSUM CEILING DEMO, CONTRACTOR
SHALL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO AVOID DAMAGING SYSTEMS,
ASSEMBLIES, FIREPROOFING, ETC. ABOVE THE CEILING.
CEILING GRID WIRE TIES TO STRUCTURE SHOULD BE MAINTAINED
FOR RE-USE WHERE POSSIBLE.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL CEILING MILLWORK AND
MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO AVOID DAMAGE TO MILLWORK..
STORE MILLWORK ON RESORT SITE IN SECURE AREA,
COORDINATE LOCATION WITH ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
4. FIRE SPRINKLER CHANGES SHALL BE DESIGNED BY THE FIRE
SPRINKLER CONTRACTOR (ALL STATE FIRE PROTECTION) AND
SUBMITTED BY DEFERRED SUBMITTAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH
ALL TOWN OF VAIL AND BUILDING DEPARTMENT
REQUIREMENTS.
5. CEILING HEIGHTS INDICATED ARE APPROXIMATE AND SHOULD
BE VERIFIED BY CONTRACTOR WHERE APPLICABLE.
