AND OTHER PHASES OF WORK.
5. NOTIFY ARCHITECT PRIOR TO DRILLING, CUTTING, OR OTHERWISE
MODIFYING ANY STRUCTURAL MEMBER NOT IDENTIFIED IN
DRAWINGS.
6. VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS IN FIELD AND NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF
ANY DISCREPANCIES ENCOUNTERED PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH
WORK.
7. CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE WEATHER PROTECTION OF EXISTING
STRUCTURE TO REMAIN THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF DEMOLITION
AND CONSTRUCTION.
8. REFER TO SPECIFICATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL DEMOLITION
REQUIREMENTS.
9. COORDINATE ALL SLAB REMOVAL WITH STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS &
SPECIFICATIONS.
10. THE EXISTING BUILDING MAY CONTAIN ASBESTOS OR PRODUCTS
CONTAINING ASBESTOS, A SUBSTANCE KNOWN TO PRESENT HEALTH
HAZARDS. THE ARCHITECT'S SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR THIS PROJECT
DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY SERVICES RELATED IN ANY WAY TO
ASBESTOS. SHOULD ANY PARTY ENCOUNTER SUCH MATERIALS ON
THE JOBSITE, OR SHOULD IT IN ANY OTHER WAY BECOME KNOWN
THAT SUCH MATERIALS ARE PRESENT OR MAY BE PRESENT AT THE
JOBSITE OR ANY ADJACENT AREAS WHICH MAY AFFECT THE JOBSITE
OR ANY ADJACENT AREAS WHICH MAY AFFECT THE ARCHITECT'S
SERVICES, THE OWNER AND CONTRACTOR SHALL ABATE,
ENCAPSULATE, AND / OR REMOVE THE ASBESTOS OR ASBESTOS
CONTAINING MATERIALS AND WARRANT THAT THE JOBSITE IS IN
FULL COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS,
INCLUDING MEASURES FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE CONTRACTOR OR
ANY SUBCONTRACTOR, OR FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC. SUCH
RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IS AND SHALL REMAIN
THAT OF THE OWNER AND CONTRACTOR. OBSERVE AND ADHERE TO
ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS REGARDING WORKER
PROTECTION AND PROPER REMOVAL OF THESE BUILDING MATERIALS
(INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OSHA AND COLORADO DEPARTMENT
