We may try to save part of the multi stem aspen but my recommendation to the customer is that it is already in poor health and should be removed because the other part of the stem will die in the near future. The customer has been investing a lot of money in care and landscape improvements. He is currently working with the landscape company and adding a lot of lime to help neutralize the soil. With the removal of the trees they won't be casting as many needles causing acidic soil, it will improve sun infiltration and it will allow more moisture to stay in the ground. His goal is to give his yard a more finished appearance by adding more flowers to his entry monument to improve curb appeal as well as getting better flowers and sod to grow in the backyard.
