FINISHES WHICH ARE TO REMAIN. ANY DAMAGED DURING
CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE REPAIRED BY THE
CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTOR.
8. DELIVERY AND STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND
EQUIPMENT (STAGING AREAS) SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE

AS WELL AS ALONG SLAB PERIMETERS AND SEPARATION WALL
PERIMETERS, SHALL BE SEALED AND PROTECTED WITH U.L. APPROVED
SAFETY ASSEMBLIES AND/OR PROTECTIVE DEVICES HAVING THE SAME
OR GREATER TESTED RATING AS THAT REQUIRED FOR THE ASSEMBLY
BEING PENETRATED. ALL PENETRATIONS SHALL BE PROTECTED TO
MAINTAIN FIRE RATED ASSEMBLY INTEGRITY.
11. PROVIDE ELECTROLYTIC PROTECTION / ISOLATION BETWEEN ALL
DISSIMILAR METALS, AND BETWEEN TREATED WOOD AND METALS TO
PREVENT ELECTROLYTIC REACTION AND/OR CORROSION.
12. ALL WOOD, EXCEPT ARCHITECTURAL WOODWORK, USED ON THIS
PROJECT SHALL BE FIRE RETARDANT, NON-COMBUSTIBLE TREATED AS
APPROVED FOR USE BY THE LOCAL CODE AUTHORITIES. NO WOOD

PROPERLY INSTALL ALL MOUNTED ASSEMBLIES, INCLUDING ALL
ATTACHED EQUIPMENT (OWNER AND CONTRACTOR FURNISHED ITEMS),
PLUMBING FIXTURES, MILLWORK, AND CASEWORK. NOTE: ALL FRAMING
OR CONCEALED BLOCKING SHALL BE METAL BETWEEN STUDS AS IS
RECOMMMENDED FOR WALL MOUNTED ITEMS. REFER TO THE A-700
SERIES DRAWINGS FOR FUTHER INFORMATION.
14. WHERE FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINETS, ELECTRICAL PANELS OR OTHER
EQUIPMENT OR DEVICES ARE RECESSED IN FIRE-RATED PARTITIONING
AND/OR SOUND RATED PARTITIONING, MODIFY PARTITION
CONSTRUCTION TO PROVIDE CONTINUOUS ENCLOSURE FOR
UNINTERRUPTED ASSOCIATED FIRE RATING AND/OR SOUND RATING.
15. ALL ROOMS OR AREAS WITH CEILINGS OPEN TO STRUCTURE ARE TO
HAVE METAL WALL GRILLS FOR AIR DUCT OPENINGS OR AT OPEN AIR
TRANSFERS. COORDINATE SIZE OF GRILLE WITH MECHANICAL
DRAWINGS AND AIR FLOW REQUIREMENTS.
16. METAL FRAMING STUD SPACING MAY VARY AT LOCATIONS RECEIVING
MOISTURE RESISTANT GYPSUM BOARD. INSTALL FRAMING AT WALLS,
HARD CEILINGS AND SOFFITS PER MANUFACTURER'S
