SCOPE OF WORK CERTAINTEED ASPHALT SHINGLES W/ METHOD #2 OF
ALTERNATIVE COLORS-DOUBLE COURSES •••
1. AG Roofing to tear off the old roof and dispose of all debris ............................... $18,000.00
2. AG Roofing to provide and install a DOUBLE layer of CarlJsle WIP 300 HT Ice & Water
Shield to the entire shake roof area. At roof to wall junctions, waterproofing membrane
to run up wall a minimum of 24", where possible .............................................. $50,000.00
3. AG Roofing to provide and install 26 Gauge Painted Metal Flashings to all; eaves, valleys,
headwalls, sidewalls, crickets & pitch breaks. Color: TBD AG Roofing will redesign a new
ridge vent system for all required ridge lines ....................................................... $24,000.00
4. AG Roofing to provide and install Certainteed Presidential TL Asphalt Shakes to all roof
areas that are currently cedar shakes IN A DUAL COLOR METHOD-DOUBLE COURSES.

Option/Code Requirement:
AG Roofing will provide and install approximately 1,250-1,500 ST9 Rocky Mountain Snow Guards
to all eave areas to protect from heavy large snow slides hurting pedestrians. $10/Snow Guard
Estimated Cost: $12,500.00-$15,000.00 Add to Base Bid:--------
Note:
1. AG Roofing will need to cut the stucco, siding and stone for dry-in and flashing installation
that work will be done on a T&M{Time and Material Basis}. The repairs of that wll/ have to be
done by others, not AG Roofing. It is responsibility of the owner/caretaker to find a third party
to repair the Stucco.
2. If any fascia, plywood or sofflt need repairs will be done on a time and material basis.
3. The building permit will l;te paid by the o":'ner. .
4. Payments wlll be as follows: 40% Deposit, 30% When Tear Of/ is Completed & Material Is
Delivered, & 30% when project is completed, plus extras such as snow retention, stucco
removal and permits and ANY DEFECTS THAT ARE IDENTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER MUST
BE CORRECT PRIOR TO FINAL PAYMENT.
5. AG Roofing does not connect heat tape to power source, must be done by a certified electrician.
6. Payments wfll be held Ff there are any issues brought up by the product manufactured Inspections: such
as defects/errors in the installations of the products.
7. Snow retention is required by the Town of Vall.

CONDITIONS:
1} MATERIALS; Please be advised that materials for this proposal have been bid at a..rrrent market prices
and cannot be guaranteed past 30 days. A.G. Roofing reserves the right to Increase the proposal
amount to meet the Increase In material cost. Any extra material not Indicated in proposal wlU he
charged as an extra.
2} REROOF; A.G. Roofing Company will provide and Install materials Indicated by homeowner, any change
orders wll/ be charged accordingly. If A.G. Roofing has to take off gutters or heat tape to prevent
damages, It wifl be charge on T&M {time and material basis at $55.00/hr.}. If for any reason the
roofing supply company cannot deliver the material (drive way blocked, truck too heavy for the drive
way, etc ... ) A.G. Roofing Company will rent the equipment necessary to move the material on the roof
at the owners' expense.
3) PAYMENTS; Payments are due upon receipt of invoice. Any Invoices over 30 days old are subject to
Interest charge of 3% per month. PROPERTY SUBJECT TO HAVE A LIEN FILED IF NOT PAID WITH IN
120 DAYS FROM LAST DAY WORKED AT JOB SITE.
4} WINTER CONDITIONS CLAUSE; Any work performed from NQVEMBER 1, THRU APRIL 30, wlll be
subject to a wlnterization charge (not to exceed 10% of contract price). Contract does not Include Ice
and snow removal, or application of plastic on roof deck, and will be billed on a T & M basis. Priming of
Ice & water shield will be required and will be charged @ $.20 PER SO FT.
S} INSURANCE; A.G. Roofing Company Is fully Insured with llablllty fnsurance in the alT!ount of
$2,000,000 and workman's compensation. Certificates of insurance wlll be forwarded to client upon
acceptance of proposal. ·
6} ATTQRNEY'S FEES; Should either party be required to retain an attorney or attorney's to enforce the
provisions of this agreement, whether or not litigation is actually required, the non-breaching party shall
be entitled to recover from the party breaching this agreement those reasonable attorney's fees
Incurred as a result of such breach. If judgment Is against A.G. Roofing Company the sum cannot
exceed the contract price.
7} WARRANTY: A.G. Roofing Company wlll warranty all labor against leaks for a period of 2 YEARS.
Warranty Is void if snow exceeds 36" and Is not removed. Snow removal performed by anyone other
than A.G. Roofing Company or other local properly Insured contractor will void warranty. Proof of
general liability Insurance must be forwarded to A.G. Roofing Company PRIOR to commencement of
snow removal. Broken tile Is not Included In scope of warranty. Any work or alteration on roof (snow
fence, snow dips etc. .. ) done by others will void Warranty as well.
8) NOTICE TO PROCEEP: Once work ls started, this proposal becomes the primary contract, and is not
over ruled by any other contract, whether it is signed or not. Any delays caused because of non-
preparation on th~ part of the client or his/her Hired tradesman or subcontractors will validate a charge
by A.G. Roofing Company to the client for any lost tfme and/or materials.
