Dear Mike:
This scope of work letter is for the purpose of requesting modifications the existing permit for the
installation of a monitored fire alarm system in a residential new construction project for which a
pre-wire inspection has already been performed. The owners have made modifications that will
require us to relocate a smoke detector in a bedroom and add a carbon monoxide detector in the
same room. Additionally, a second kitchen is being added requiring us to add another carbon
monoxide detector. We will verify the additional devices meet the minimum required battery
calculation and voltage drop requirements.
Our installation will be performed in accordance with applicable NFPA 70, NFPA 72, IBC codes
and Town of Vail Standards.
