Subject: Home Occupation Permit
Hi Nancy,
Just out of the Chamonix Vail Community Board meeting. While reviewing if we can sign off on
permit request a few questions were asked which I could not answer.
1. You state 2 employees on the application. Who does that include? It includes me, and an
occasionally one of my engineers from Boulder. I wanted to be on the safe side, if I had an
engineer there even a few times per month. It will not be a full time position.
2. Will there be any commercial vehicles, i.e. trucks, CDOT working trucks and if anyone comes to
your home where do you intend for them to park? No trucks will be there. I am not planning on
meeting any clients at my home. All of our client interactions will be on site, or at CDOT field
offices. If I have an occasional employee engineer up, he/she will park in my driveway.
Upon receipt of your answers the Board will forward it's application response to planning for code
compliance review.
