Mr. Vaughan,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will
be performed by Western States F ire Protection on level one of 12 Vail Road.
Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system per NF PA13 are as follows.
• Add one sprinkler in new kitchen area
• Relocate one sprinkler in entry
• Change four standard response sprinklersto quick response to match remaining quick response
sprinklers
This is a steel pipe sprinkler system.All added materials will be compatible to the existing system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VF ES.If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
