Survey Specification Sheet EAGLE RIVER
WATER& SANITATION
DISTRICT
All surveys, plats, construction drawings, and record drawings provided to the Eagle River Water and
Sanitation District(ERWSD) or the Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority(UERWA) shall be tied to a
horizontal coordinate system and a vertical datum.
The horizontal coordinate system is NAD 1983 State Plane Colorado Central FIPS 0502(US Feet).
The vertical datum is North American Vertical Datum of 1988(NAVD 88).
Also provide epoch and projection settings in text format; for coordinate and datum used.
If the survey collection is tied to a coordinate system other than the NAD 1983 State Plane Colorado
Central FIPS 0502 (US Feet), conversion to Colorado State Plane Central coordinate system will be
necessary before delivery to ERWSD. Collection in a"Modified"coordinate system is acceptable, but
deliverables must be in the above coordinate system settings.
Surveyor should be aware that ground to grid scaling factor is necessary for deliverables; and provide the
scaling factor used to ERWSD.
Survey drawings provided in AutoCAD format will be projected in the above coordinate system.
In addition to drawing files, survey deliverables will include Tabular data in a spreadsheet format.
Tabular Data will include survey point descriptions, Northing& Easting Coordinates, ERWSD Facility ID
or"New"asset, and descriptive fields for the assets surveyed (like RIM elevations, invert elevations, and
other useful information).
ERWSD's intent for all surveys, plats, construction drawings, and record drawings is to bring them into
our ESRI GIS and Asset Management Systems.
