1. This floor plan represents the "existing"
condition, walls, doors, windows, and also
represents the "proposed / new"
remodel work. We will NOT be changing
any walls, rooms, etc. The floor plan will
remain the same as the current
configuration and with the exception of
adding new recessed lighting and
replacing existing plugs and switches, the
unit is replacing cabinets, flooring,
interior doors, base and casing,
appliances. Existing tubs shown on this
floor plan will be replaced with a tile
shower of the same size and in the same
location and sharing the same, existing
drain.
2. Existing condition of ceiling assembly
is (1) layer of 5/8" Type X drywall
fastened to pre-fabricated, wood floor
trusses. Existing condition of "party
walls" is also (1) layer of 5/8" Type X
drywall.
If (2) layers of 5/8" Type X is required in
order to meet current IBC code, that is
not a problem and we will add the extra
layer of 5/8" Type X to all party wall and
ceiling assemblies.
3. Both bath fan replacements will
consist of UL listed "fire damper" bath
fans.
4. All recessed lights proposed will be
UL Listed IC-Rated, air-tight cans.

replaced with new UL Listed LUTRON
"Decora style", square devices.
